Am I old enough to safely get submental liposuction? (Photo)

This requires an in-person evaluation. ​I find that VASER liposuction in combination with Renuvion or ThermiRF are best for contouring the chin in those who are candidates, but Kybella can be used as an alternative and gets better results when combined with Thermage/Ultherapy/Exilis, TruSculpt iD, or Coolsculpting. Generally, when there exists extra subcutaneous fatty tissue, and the angle of the neck is less than ideal (obtuse for example) and there are no contraindications to surgery, then an adult can be a suitable candidate for liposuction surgery. The usual goal is to help define the cervical (neck)-mental (chin) angle.

Thank you for your pictures and questions. I would advise you to have an in-person consultation with a local board certified plastic surgeon. Based on my initial assessment of your photo, you do have some issues with submental fullness but your major issue is under-projection of the chin. If you previously had a chin implant, I would consider having that revised to a more projecting implant and consider adjunctive submental liposuction at that time. Hope this helps!

You appear to be a great candidate for submental liposuction. I addition, I would recommend removing your existing chin implant (it's too small) and replacing it with a larger implant or under a genioplasty procedure and no implant. You are still retrusive in the horizontal plane, and greater projection would provide better facial balance.

In Florida you still need parental permission, signed consents, for surgery. You also might need a larger chin implant with sub mental liposuction. Seek in person consultations.
