Pneumothorax & revision rhinoplasty does it present or can it occur in the future? (Like 50+ years)

I don’t know why pneumothorax is not talked about more in rib cartilage rhinoplasties. Does pneumothorax present itself immediately when the procedure is taken place or can the complication present itself/occur in the future? (Like 50+ years)

Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your question you need also alar base plasty for your nose base. This means closed rhinoplasty would not help you to achieve your goals. If you want you can have closed but I recommend you open rhinoplasty surgery. Best Regards!
