Prior to my revision in May 2021, I had a double bubble and animation deformity. During my surgery, the double bubble line was scored and the muscle was released more. It seems that on one side the muscle was released too far and it feels like the muscle that is left is straining to function. I'm in discomfort almost all day. This started about 3 months after surgery. Can the muscle be reattached if it was released too far? My surgeon prescribed anti-inflammatories and rest but it's not working.
