Can I get an elective procedure with a blood disorder under control? I take baby aspirin everyday.

I take baby aspirin everyday because my platelet count is high due to my bone marrow (ET)creating more platelets than normal. The hematologist who diagnosed me said I can still get elective surgery if I want. I would like to get a breast lift with implants , rhinoplasty , and a few other procedures not at one time of course . My condition is under control and I’m asymptomatic .I know some doctors don’t want to work on people with conditions .I also see some doctors do .

Answer: You would probably need to come off of your daily baby aspirin until your surgery is complete.
