I have an old rupture they finally found. I have BII symptoms I thought was long hauler and bad luck , endometriosis, colitis , esophagitis , esophageal candida, new osteitis of the same sided clavicle. I felt it ruptured after a mammo in 2018 but MRI and many mammo and US said intact. MRI contrast finally found it. Will and implant exchange get rid of my symptoms ? Is the osteitis of my clavicle related? It’s very painful the clavicle. I don’t know , exchange or explant. BII or long hauler S/S
Answer: Explant with Bellesoma Method The technique I recommend is explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: BII There is still much that we are learning about Breast Implant Illness. There is no test that we can give to diagnose it and the symptoms can be vague. There also is no way to say with certainty that the symptoms will improve with the removal of the implants, but many patients do report that they do. I've included a video on this topic that I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Removal Do have your ruptured implants removed. Your breasts will probably feel better and mentally you will too most likely. However, BII is still a long list of potential symptoms which could have multiple causes besides implants, and many are often undiagnosed food and other allergies with continued exposure.

Answer: Will ruptured Sientra smooth implant removal or exchange get rid of my breast implant illness symptoms? Hi @npesk, thank you for your question. The best thing for your health is to remove the implants definitively as soon as possible since you have developed several autoimmune diseases. I have been performing breast implant removals for 4 years now for suspected BII. It is a group of symptoms related to the autoimmune response of the body. It causes, in some people, an autoinflammatory response that affects different systems of the body and generates a variety of symptoms. The disease is caused by silicon, a foreign substance in the body. In some women, this breast implant disease causes an autoinflammatory response, which affects different body systems and generates a variety of symptoms. What happens with explant is that after patients have undergone surgery they begin to feel better, their symptoms begin to reduce so at that point we can say that the patient had BII. Here is a video that sheds more light on the subject. best of luck! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS. Answer: BII Breast implant illness is a relatively new diagnosis that we are still conducting a lot of research on. What we do know, is that patients (with or without ruptured) implants can demonstrate some of the signs you have mentioned, with no other identifiable source. If all other probably causes have been ruled out, I think it would definitely be reasonable to proceed with explantation. If you are having BII symptoms, I would not recommend having replacement immediately.
