I had Colostomy bag 11 years ago due to an sexual accident that caused me a recto vaginal fistula) so I had a temporary colostomy bag (for 3 monts)after that everything have been normal as before no problems or no complications, that only problem if that I have those ugly scars on my belly, also other scars of c section (1987) and appendectomy (2014) ,now I would like to have tt lipo 360 and bbl so i would like to know if its ok to get it done or if I'm elegible for these procedures?
Answer: Abdomen I would suggest starting with liposuction to remove the excess fat and see how much loose skin that can be gained. Once healed, then a lower reverse tuck could be considered to try and lower the scar. You won't be able to have a traditional tummy tuck scar unless a lot of loose skin is gained after liposuction. Just liposuction alone will be helpful to reduce bulges.

Answer: BBL, Lipo 360, and Tummy Tuck After Colostomy Reversal Thank you for your question regarding the possibility of undergoing a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), Lipo 360, and tummy tuck after a colostomy reversal 11 years ago. Based on your history and physical examination, you would be an excellent candidate for these procedures. I would suggest starting with liposuction, particularly focusing on the abdominal wall. Following this, we could proceed with an extended tummy tuck, involving incisions made below the pubic region and the rib cage. This would allow us to address scar tissue from the colostomy, possibly remove most of the scarred abdomen evident in your pictures, and fix any hernias resulting from the colostomy. The harvested fat from the liposuction could then be used for a BBL. This procedure could be performed either concurrently with the tummy tuck or separately, based on your preference. If you choose to stage the procedures, I would recommend performing the liposuction and BBL first, then considering the tummy tuck three to four months later. This approach might yield superior results as more aggressive liposuction can be performed when it is not combined with a tummy tuck. For the most impactful results, I suggest a Lipo 360 in conjunction with the BBL, followed by a tummy tuck a few months later. However, if necessary, all procedures can be performed at the same time. Thank you for your question regarding the feasibility of a BBL, Lipo 360, and tummy tuck following a colostomy. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Am I a candidate? You should be able to have a tummy tuck, but an examination and review of your history is needed to know for sure. Go on a few consultations with board certified plastic surgeons to hear opinions. There are recovery considerations when determining if these procedures should be performed at one time or broken into stages.

Answer: BBL and TT Dear Pioneering151458, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.
