Is it possible to get a rhinoplasty, brow lift and breast lift in one surgery? Ideally I would like to get all 3 procedures done at the same time to minimise recovery time.

Answer: Combining multiple procedures Although it may be possible to combine all 3 o f these procedures, I would not recommend having them all done in the same day as that is a very long time to be under general anesthesia. Instead, you could combine 2 of them, and have the third done at a later time.

Answer: Can rhinoplasty, brow lift and breast lift be performed in one surgery? Hello and thank you for your question regarding combining surgeries. Combining surgeries offers many advantages, the most important of which is reduced risk for the patient. Fewer surgeries and fewer anesthesia applications mean less risk of infection or complications. However, there are risks associated with surgeries that are too long. Those risks include complications from anesthesia and hypothermia, among others. In order to avoid those risks, you should limit your surgery to less than 6 hours, if possible. Schedule a consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon in your area to discuss their opinion about which two of the three procedures to have together. Good luck!- Elbert T. Cheng, MD
