Is this a normal mole or something else? It's on the upper back on the spine. It's slightly elevated and hard at touch (Photos)

Usually it takes about 5-7 days for biopsy results to get back.  It depends on what stains the pathologists makes, etc.  The office where you had your biopsy should have the results soon, and I'm sure they will contact you with the findings.

A mole removal is usually a very shallow procedure. While a nerve could be affected afterwards, this would be very rare. I suggest seeing a cosmetic dermatologist for a formal evaluation.
