Ok so I'm 11 weeks po this week I got 420cc XHP under muscle textured implants. They don't seem to be dropping and I'm not happy with the very little lower pole I have. I massage 3x a day as advised and still not change from about 3 weeks should my creases have been lowered?
Answer: 11 weeks post op, my implants are not dropping. Is this normal? Thank you for the question and pictures. The sequence of pictures you posted does show improvement of the breast implant position over the course of 2 weeks. Depending on the exact size/position of the “pocket” dissected for the breast implants, there is still time for the breast implants to “settle”. In my practice, I have seen breast implants settle for the first 6 months and even up to one year after breast augmentation surgery. Best to continued to exercise patience, continue your massages as instructed and follow-up with your plastic surgeon for the best advice, recommendations, and/or reassurance. Best wishes; hopefully, you will be pleased with the longer-term outcome of the procedure performed.

Answer: Significant change in volume distribution three months after breast augmentation would be unlikely. I'm not sure why the volume is still artificially supported in the breast implants 11 weeks after augmentation. This could be early capsular contracture. Visit your surgeon.

Answer: Early Evaluation Hi Thank you for your question and photos. In my observation you are too early in your considerations, give it time to settle. Don't worry, 11 weeks post op is to soon to determine what your breasts will look like. At this time, what you are describing is normal. Be Patient, you should see final results within 4 to 6 months. Continue to follow instructions by your doctor and you will see a drastic change as they settle. It is important to stay compressed and wear a stabilizer bra that both supports and help push the breast into the area or choice. Best of Luck!Dr. Dillon

Answer: 11 weeks post op, my implants are not dropping. Is this normal? (photos) At just 11 weeks post-op, it is still too soon to worry about final results. From the photos, it appears that your implants have dropped some and the swelling is also resolving. Go see your surgeon and perhaps ask about wearing a breast band to help your implants drop more. Textured implants may need more help to drop as they adhere more to the surrounding breast tissue. If after the next few months your implants have not dropped any further, talk with your surgeon about revision options and move forward from there. Best of luck. ac

Answer: Textured implants not dropping after 11 weeks Textured breast implants and hear more to the surrounding tissues and 10 to drop slower than smooth walled breast implants. I agree that your implants need to drop more to create more lower pole fullness. 11 weeks is still early and your implants definitely can drop more over the next 3 months. If they do not then a simple revision is possible. Ask your plastic surgeon about the possibility of a pole wraps and pectoralis contraction and stretching exercises.
