Am I good candidate for surgery? It’s so expensive and I’m worried that it won’t work or Ill get adverse side affects/ won’t like the results. I’ve heard of side affects such as hair loss. Please give me any advice and be honest.
Answer: Hairline lowering hairline lowering is commonly performed on patients with very similar hairlines to you. Hair loss is very uncommon with this procedure despite a small number of reviews that I have read on this site where patients complain of this. This is one of the most satisfying operations to perform since the patient satisfaction rate is so high. You would have to come for a consultation to determine your eligibility for any surgical procedure.

Answer: Hairline lowering Based on the photo you posted, I think you are a good candidate for forehead reduction/hairline lowering. There is a incision which can be hidden and invisible if done correctly by an expert. In some patients, we transplant hairs to the incision area to hide it even more but this is often not needed. The appearance of the hair line will look natural, and pretty similar to your current hairline, just lower. Hair loss is not common so I don't encounter this issue much. You live a little far away but if you can cross the pond we are happy to help you.

Answer: Forehead Reduction You are an excellent candidate for a forehead reduction. Although hair loss is a possible complication an expert who minimizes interruption of circulation and uses expanders when necessary to avoid extreme tension on the closure of the incision does not have a problem with this. I suggest you consider the Irregular Trichophytic Hairline Incision technique that we described many years ago.

Answer: LOWERING THE HAIRLINE There are two ways to accomplish this, the first being a hairline lowering surgery where the hairline is advanced forward. It is often limited in the distance you can more the hairline, often around 1 inch or so. If there is more movement required, a hair transplant lowering procedure works well also. In some women, there is loss of the corner hairline and/or the temple peaks and when this happens, only a hair transplant lowering procedure can address these corners
