How to fade bad red and purple scarring on legs as fast as possible? (photos)

Question

I get really bad ingrown hairs on my legs that have left horrible scarring! i'm in the process of getting laser hair removal done to hopefully stop the ingrowns from happening. But the damage has already been done and my legs look horrible :( i've been using vitamin e oil to try and help with fading the scarring and i also have glytone retexturise lotion on the way which has almost 20% glycolic acid. i've also thought about using a derma roller on my legs. is there anything else i should be doing?

Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. Thank you for posting your question. IPL intensive pulse light treatments can help lightening hyperpigmented scars and making them less noticeable. Applying hydroquinone bleaching cream can also help lightening the scars. Best of luck.
