Answer: Shedding after a hair transplantation is normal During the surgery your grafts will be transplanted together with your "old" hairs and those hair will fall out.Sometimes they stay longer and fall off after a while. Maybe you mean this but to be sure please consult with your surgeon and let him/her explain the situation.

Answer: Shedding No, at 6 months hair should not be shedding any more than the normal amount hair sheds in a regular situation. If you are experiencing mass shedding of your transplanted hairs by now you need to contact your doctor to figure out why this is happening.

Answer: FUE Hair Transplant Thank you for asking the question. Usual hair-fall after transplant starts to occur in the first 2 weeks to 6 weeks. However, it is not un-usual that the hair grows continuously and then starts to fall around 5th or the 6th month from the transplant. It happened about in 10% to 15% of the patients. So, please don’t be alarmed by the hair-fall. This hair will start growing about in 6 to 8 weeks and about the end of the year you should have most of the hair back. And you can expect the complete result by around 12 to 15 months of time. Regards, Dr. Amit Gupta
