In general transplanted hairs fall out within a month. If you believe yours fell out too soon or too late see your doctor for a recheck.
During the surgery your grafts will be transplanted together with your "old" hairs and those hair will fall out.Sometimes they stay longer and fall off after a while. Maybe you mean this but to be sure please consult with your surgeon and let him/her explain the situation.
No, at 6 months hair should not be shedding any more than the normal amount hair sheds in a regular situation. If you are experiencing mass shedding of your transplanted hairs by now you need to contact your doctor to figure out why this is happening.
İt is notnormal that implanted hair fall out after 6 months FUE.Transplanted graft’s hair starts to shedding in the first week of surgery and may go on untill 4-6 th weeks after surgery. İt is not surprising to lost approx. %70-80 of all transplanted hair shafts in first month when you are washing, gently rubbing or touching the head. İt is shock loss and not permanent. Even your native hair may affected with that post traumatic transient hair loss…New hair at transplant and donor area starts to grow at 3-4 th month after surgery .
Thank you for asking the question.Usual hair-fall after transplant starts to occur in the first 2 weeks to 6 weeks. However, it is not un-usual that the hair grows continuously and then starts to fall around 5th or the 6th month from the transplant. It happened about in 10% to 15% of the patients. So, please don’t be alarmed by the hair-fall. This hair will start growing about in 6 to 8 weeks and about the end of the year you should have most of the hair back. And you can expect the complete result by around 12 to 15 months of time. Regards, Dr. Amit Gupta
Once the grafts start growing they should continue to grow at a rate of about 1/2 inch per month. If you saw it grow and then it all fell out, go back to your doctor and ask about this, as it is not normal
We recommend our patients to trim their hair with a scissor after the surgery. Using a shaver should be avoid but please consult with your surgeon about his after care instructions.
The Second FUE transplant will grow at about the same time as the first transplant you had done. No problem having multiple FUE provided that the donor area holds up
We recommend our patients to start massage after 1 week on the transplanted area . Only with fingertips. Scratching is not allowed. Massage will not damage the transplanted grafts. The hair which are falling out are the "old" ones. So do not worry.
