If you are an A cup and want to go up to a C or D cup through a fat transfer, do you need to pay for two surgeries to achieve the results wanted? Or does the surgery get divided in two and you pay once, where they put the maximum amount of fat each time to get the desired volume?
Answer: Fat transfer Thank you for your inquiry! The fat is transferred during one procedure. The amount of fat that can be transferred depends solely on how much fat can be removed from other areas of the body. If there is not enough fat that can be transferred to achieve desired goals, implants can be added for volume. I recommend scheduling a consult with a board certified plastic surgeon like myself and we can create a surgical plan to best achieve your goals!

Answer: Fat transfer Dear leahhxx, usually if you have two surgeries you will need to pay for each procedure separately. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Depends on the Surgeon and your Body In general, you are correct that this will likely take two separate procedures. It is likely that it will require two separate OR/Anesthesia fees that cannot be changed as this is typically based on either the time allotted or the type of procedure being done. However, your surgeon may decide to divide the fees depending on his or her preferences. I would keep in mind however that it is really two separate procedures, as you will typically harvest fat from two separate areas so as to not deplete one area of fat and create contour irregularities and ensure enough quality fat for the transfer. Therefore, even though the end goal of the same, the two procedures truly are separate.

Answer: Fat transfers If you are size 32 or 34, each 100 cc is one cup size change. If you are size 36 or 38, each 200 cc is one cup size change. For example, if you are size 32 then you would need 150 cc to change one cup size because not all the fat survives. To go from an A to a C would require a total amount of 300 cc of fat, at a minimum. However, it is very difficult to place that much fat in one setting. Often times you will need 2-3 sessions. You also need a duration of time between the surgeries rather than doing them in rapid sequence. The price of procedures are usually are usually based on time and would have to pay each time. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Surgery Most surgeons charge per surgery. You will have to pay surgical fees and anesthesia fees twice if two surgeries are done. You might even need 3 surgeries and still not be a D. Implants will achieve a more stable size.
