Is a breast augmentation possible for my wide set sagging breasts? (photos)

Question

Firstly, I'm wondering if my breasts are normal... I've researched breasts augmentations a lot and never found any like mine in the before pics. Are they tubular? Do I suffer from ptosis? I can't figure it out. Secondly, is there any way surgery can help me get nice cleavage? What I've read online is quite disheartening but I thought it was worth getting an opinion.

Hi there. I think you have a type of tubular breasts. You could get a really good result with carefully chosen implants which will improve your cleavage- the key is implants with good breadth to suit the shape of your chest. I also think you need a small lift and re-shape with a periareolar mastopexy.

Without examining you it's difficult to be entirely certain but it does appear as though you have a very mild form of tuberous, or tubular, breasts. You may also just have breasts that are spaced widely apart as there is a lot of natural variation between women. In either case this is something that can certainly be corrected as long as your surgeon recognizes it and mldifies their standard augmentation procedure appropriately. Meet with a few board-certified plastic surgeons in your area until you feel comfortable that one can do the job that you want. Best of Luck!

Based on your anatomy you will not likely be able to create natural cleavage with breast augmentation. If your surgeon attempts to create cleavage, you may be left with an unnatural looking result. Once the implants are in place however, it will be easier to get the look of cleavage with an appropriate bra.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno

A Breast Augmentation will give you generous volume, but not a cleavage. However, when you wear the right Bra, you will be able to bring the breasts closer to mimic a cleavage. Your Breasts are spaced wider than normal and correcting this is difficult and complex.All the best

Widely separated breasts are one of the findings in many patients with tuberous breasts. However, none of the other findings (small breasts, high breast fold, herniated areolas, and others) are present. I do not think you have ptosis, but an examining surgeon might reach a different conclusion. A breast augmentation will give some improvement.  It may be possible with a mastopexy to move the nipples and areolas a bit more central, but probably not enough to give the cleavage that you would like. This is rather a complex problem, best discussed during an in person consultation.
