What is the best scar cream for after Breast Augmentation?

Scar creams don't work. I doubt they do any harm but I would ask your own surgeon how he wants you to deal with the scar after the operation.

Finding "the best" of anything is a difficult question to ask.  If there was one that was so much superior to all the others- everyone would know about it and use it. That being said, I prefer to use a silicone based scar cream.  In the plastic surgery literature, silicone has the most research in after scar care.  Silicone scar creams differ in their consistency and content of silicone and that is why I chose -Biocorneum for my patients.  It is only available for purchase through doctor's offices.  Talk to your board certified plastic surgeon, I am sure they recommend a particular scar cream.Finally it is not enough to just buy a scar cream.  You have to use it at least daily, once your scabs are gone.  Also, putting an appropriate amount of pressure during your scar massage are vital to help your scars and make your purchase worthwhile.
