I agree with your injector, more filler will not accomplish what you are looking for and will appear unnatural. Botox if injected properly can show more lip, but it can also cause the lips to show less teeth, which is why it is used to treat a gummy smile. Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Botox can be added to the upper lip to creat a “flip” effect to the lip.  This in essence shows more of the dry red of the lip - the portion that lipstick and chapstick is applied to.  Be sure to see an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon in consultation as this is not a commonly performed injection.  Best wishes.

Adding more filler, even a small amount, will make your lips very unnatural. At your present lips volume  it would be very unlikely that Botox will evert your lips and show more teeth. To understand the beauty of the lips with all the proportions and curvatures, look up several classical sculptures and try to find any differences and similarities with your own, particularly in the profile view. I think what you are looking for could be treated with Botox to help “roll out” the lip. Some people are bothered by this because it can be difficult to use a straw etc. make sure you go to an experienced injector
