I make injection to 25 unit of Botox to right massetor muscle.Now, I am feeling pain and swelling at injection side. I want to know treatment for this haematoma!

Answer: Bruising after Botox/Xeomin/Dysport Bruising can be typical after an injection and usually resolves in 1-2 weeks. Icing, cold compresses, arnika and VBeam treatments can give improvement. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Hematoma after Botox Botox injections are typically done with very small needle. I have never heard of a hematoma requiring medical management after a Botox injection. Follow up with your surgeon for evaluation and further treatment recommendations. A bruise is something that will resolve overtime. Best wishes.

This bruising and any small fluid collections will typically resolve on its own given sufficient time. You can try cold compresses but usually 10-14 days are needed for your body to fully heal.
