I appreciate your question. You have great cheeks, but I can see how your jawline can bother you. I suggest you consider both fillers and neuromodulators. You should consider Sculptra as well! See an expert for your injections! Dr. Aldo
This will depend on the final results you want to achieve. Botox combined with radiofrequency can slim the jawline. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Botox can help to reduce fullness on the sides of the lower face (the masseter muscle) but it will not affect the jawline. Fillers can be beneficial to alter the jawline though.
Good morning yoli7562 thank you for your question. Typically fillers are the best way to recreate the jawline area. Depending on what your expectations are will determine how many syringes of filler you may need. By adding some filler you can have a very natural change to the jawline. When you see your board certified provider they will help determine the amount of filler needed and which type of filler as well.
It is hard to tell from your photos alone. It would be best to have an examination by an experienced specialist. For nonsurgical options, Botox, Fillers and Skin tightening devices could be options. To know for sure a complete evaluation would be best. Thank you for your question.
Fillers are perfect to help strengthen and define your jawline. These injections are safe, effective, and easy to complete in the office with no downtime. This is an artistic procedure and you can work with your physician to achieve the shape and look you desire.
Thank you for your question and for sharing yourphotographs yoli7562. I understand your concern. Botox is a purified proteinused to address wrinkles associated with facial expression. When injected intothe skin Botox will relax the muscles and smoothen out the overlying wrinkles. Themost common areas of treatment are in the upper face. These include thehorizontal lines seen on the upper forehead when one raises the brows, thevertical lines seen between the brows when one frowns (frown lines), and thecrow's feet seen around the eyes when one smiles. It is difficult to make an assessment without aformal exam in the office where I can view the skin in multiple angles and observewrinkles formed with facial expression. However, I hope the informationprovided here is useful. While Botox is most commonly used in the upper face, Botox can also be used in various areas in the lower face and neck. Botox can be placed just under the jawline in what is called the Nefertiti lift to relax the platysma muscle which pulls down on the lower face, thereby improving jawline definition. When placed lower in the neck Botox can address vertical neck bands. Approximately 10 units are used below each jaw and in each band. Botox can be placed in the depressor anguli oris (DAO) muscle to elevate downturned corners of the mouth which sometimes produce a sad face appearance. In this area 2-4 units are used per side. Other areas where Botox can be used are decribed here. The nasalis muscle on the bridge of the nose is responsible for thebunny lines that are sometimes seen there when one frowns or smiles. Usually2-4 units of Botox are used per side for this area. Botox can be placed in theorbicularis oris muscle around the lips to provide a pout to the lips andreduce the appearance of vertical lines around the lips sometimes calledsmoker’s lines (although they are seen in people who do not smoke as well). Inthis area 2-4 units are used above the upper lip and 2 units are used on thelower lip. Botox can be placed in the mentalismuscle on the chin to address a cobblestone appearance or dimpling on the chin.In this area 2-8 units of Botox are used. Botox can be placed in the massetermuscle in the lower face to contour the lower face and address pain associatedwith TMJ. In this area 20-40 units of Botox are used per side. Botox can beplaced in the levator labii superioris alequae nasii (LLSAN) muscle locatedjust beside the nose on either side to address what is called the gummy smile. The gummy smile is seen in some people whose upper lip elevates so high whenthey smile that the upper gums are seen in addition to their upper teeth. Inthis area 2-4 units are used per side. Botox can be placed in a vestigialmuscle (seen in some people) called the depressor septi nasii to prevent thetip of the nose from moving downward when smiling. Here only 1-2 units isrequired. There are a number of other treatments that can also help with jawline definition. Fillers such as Voluma can be placed in the cheeks. This restores the youthful apple of the cheek and pulls up on the lower face. This helps decrease the appearance of jowls and improve jawline definition. Tightening the skin on the neck using infrared light or fractional CO2 will also improve the jawline definition. Finally, treatments such as Kybella decrease the appearance of the double chin, which leads to further improvement in jawline definition. For my patients I recommend a combination approach. With any injection, there are risks such aspain, bleeding, bruising, redness, swelling, tenderness, and infection. We takespecial precautions to minimize these risks such as using a painless technique. We also treat bruises with a laser as early as the next day. Bruises usuallyresolve within two weeks if untreated. After a laser treatment bruises usuallyresolve in 1-3 days, but may still take two weeks for full resolution. Inaddition to these risks, with Botox there is also a risk that the product spreadsor diffuses to nearby structures. Spread to nearby muscles can lead to sideeffects such as the temporary appearance of droopy eyelids or a temporaryasymmetric smile. After a Botox treatment, I recommend that mypatients avoid heat exposure, alcohol consumption, and strenuous exercise for24 hours and not lie down flat for four hours. This is because all of theseactivities may possibly lead to the movement of the product and consequent sideeffects such as droopy eyelids as described above. Although there have been nodefinitive studies shown that these actually occur and some physicians do notprovide such aftercare instructions, in the absence of data I err on the sideof caution and recommend that my patients avoid such activities. Please consult with a doctor for specificrecommendations. Good luck!
I think that your jawline is fine but if I did anything to enhance your look I would add fillers mid-face. I think that Restylane Lyft would look very soft and natural if done well
Honestly, based on the photos, I think you have a very defined jawline. Filler can be used to contour the face but I don't think it's jawline definition that you. I recommend you see an experienced aesthetic physician for a detailed in person consultation to determine what it is that you need.
From the photos it appears you have a very angular face and fillers into the midface can round out the appearance. an in person consultation is necessary to see what is best so see a board certified experienced dermatologist or plastic surgeon
Hello- sounds like you had quite a spring. I am sure you have been checked out with your family doctor and are back to normal. So after this much time, I think it would be fine to proceed with fillers. Good luck!

That’s your Depressor Anguli Oris (DAO) and it’s not fat. Kybella there would be risky in my opinion. Botox by an expert injector can lead to nice results! Good luck. Dr. Aldo
