Is 800cc silicone implants too big? (Photo)

Question

I weigh 270 and I am 5"6. Is 800cc too big for me? I want a large rounded but not pornstar fake look. For the record: I have consulted multiple gastrectomy surgeon's for potential gastric bypass surgery. I was turned away because I do not have any co-morbidities. :( Australian health care is ridiculous. I need to be dying to get help.

It si impossible to say what the appopriate implant size would be for you without examining you.  However, based on your pictures and information, it appears you will need a failry large volume just to see a difference in your breasts.  I would consult with a board certidied plastic surgeon in your area and go from there.  I hope this helps.

Thank you for your question and photo.  800cc implant is extremely large.  If you are not looking for pornstar fake, I would suggest a much smaller size.  You have a significant amount of natural breast tissue.  I would suggest and in-person consultation with a plastic surgeon to go over implant sizing.  Good luck.

Dear Miss,Please consider this:The larger the implant- the heavier it will be - thus, the sooner you will need a lift. Gravity pulls everything down and out. Not to mention other complications associated with large implants such as chronic pain, displacement, capsular contracture, etc. Consider having a minimal scar breast lift and lipo of your torso to improve dimensions.Hope this helps,Gary Horndeski M.D.

I agree with your cosmetic judgment: you don't want pornstar fake look in your breasts, however... if you really don't wish so... why you demand it just twisting the terms? As far as I understand the pornstars wear large rounded implants...Additionally, I'd recommend a radical weight loss to enhance safety for your breast surgery.Anatomical implants are of superior naturalness and results, strongly recomended... moreover... when patients seek large volumes.

In my opinion for aesthetic breast surgery 800 mL implants are too big typically. I would recommend that you reduce your body weight before considering any aesthetic breast surgery. It sounds like that you have to do it the old-fashioned way with exercise and proper diet. Good luck.

At this height and weight your BMI is almost 46. First recommendation: to loose at least 100lbs and then be re-evaluated for breast surgery. BTW: in America you can get your gastric bypass much more conveniently than in Australia.

Hi!! 800 cc's it is a big implant. In fact the diameter of the breast has to permit the fitting of the diameter of the implant. Implant size is your choice discuting it with your PS. Besos!! Dr C

A comprehensive consultation including examination and measurements are required in order to advise you of the best implant size for you.  That said, 800 CC implants are very large implants and you already have significant existing breast tissue.  If you are wanting to avoid a 'fake' look then that size implant may be too large for you.  Arrange a consultation with a fully qualified plastic surgeon to determine your options.  The short answer is - yes, 800cc implants are too large for you.
