I had Lipo to the inner thighs 4 weeks ago. Hey removed 330ccs. My right leg looks beautiful but my left thigh appears uneven and lumpy. I am not optimistic that this will resolve since the right side looks great. What can be done to smooth this out? Or is there still a chance this will resolve on its own?
Answer: Post Liposuction Pain/ Swelling / Soreness -- Start Venus Legacy, Vanquish, Exilis Ultra, Massage, Cellutone/Z Wave you are still very early in healing. skin tightening should be started with RF treatments and massage. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Thigh lipo Hello and thank you for posting a photo along with your question! Its only been 4 weeks after your surgery and there is likely still a lot of swelling that is present. It takes a good amount of time for the swelling to resolve and at this point patience is key. When you see unevenness early on, you want to make sure its not from anything external. This means, make sure if you are wearing a garment that it is nice and flat and that the pressure is distributed evenly along your thigh. You should definitely have a conversation with your plastic surgeon and see if he has any recommendations....for example does he think you need to start doing any type of massage or Rf therapy. I hope this helps and good luck with your recovery!Ankur Mehta MD

Answer: Lipo of inner thighs This will likely resolve. With liposuction, swelling can be uneven and create this kind of discrepancy. Also at about 4 weeks, internal healing can produce lumps that you can feel. These usually resolve. The skin of the inner thighs is thin, so it is common in this area to have these things occur. I find that the use of external readiofrequency devices such as Venus really helps the common swelling an lumpiness in early inner thigh liposuction cases.

Answer: Asymmetric lipo results It is possible that your results are asymmetric, but it is way to early to make that determination. It is very common to have swelling resolve in an asymmetric way. Is the larger side more tender? That would be a good sign as tenderness and firmness under the skin = swelling. Be patient and don't let anyone revise it before 6 months. Best of luck!
