I had a rhinoplasty a year ago but I didn't like the results at all, so is it possible to bring my nose back as it was, knowing that the doctor didn't touch my tip nor my nostrils, he just removed a very small hump and some of the bone from one side, as my main problem was that my nose was deviated Please tell me if there is chance to bring the bone that was taken exactly to its current place? is't possible to know how much bone was taken using my photos and my x-rays before my first rhinoplasty

Answer: Revision Rhinoplasty Hello and thanks for posting this question. It's normal that a year after rhinoplasty, the swelling has finally gone down and the results you see are final. I'm a bit confused about your desire to go back to your original nose, for which you saw a plastic surgeon and had a rhinoplasty in the first place. It's doubtful that your surgeon, or any surgeon, can take your nose back to its original position, and it's doubtful that that would make you happy, as again, you weren't happy with it in the first place. I suggest that you go back to your original surgeon with your concerns and see what he or she has to say. If you are still dissatisfied, as suggested by another colleague, visit with a board certified plastic surgeon for a revision consultation. Rhinoplasty is an extremely difficult surgery to perform, primarily because cartilage can grow back, leading to less than satisfactory results even in the best hands. Here in Boca Raton, rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty are specialties of mine, but I know there are many excellent rhinoplasty surgeons in Austin as well. Seek the advise of one and discover whether your nose can be adjusted to please you.To your health and beauty,Dr. Jonathan BermanBoard Certified Boca Raton Plastic Surgeondrberman.com

Answer: Can my rhinoplasty be reversed? While you can have a revision rhinoplasty to alter the shape of your nose, you will, most likely, not revert to the exact pre-surgery look. If you are unhappy with it, you should see someone about a revision. See an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon for best, natural results.
