Car ride after Brazilian butt lift?

Question

I want my mom to drive me home after BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT! Of course I will ride in the back seat on my stomach, my mom recommended us definitely renting a suv so I can lay out! Anyway how recommended is this? Its only a 4 hr drive!! HELP

In general this is a question your plastic surgeon should explain to you. The recommendation should be: the first at least two weeks you lay flat in the prone position (on your belly) on the rear seats. in order to full-fill local regulation, maybe you need to somehow use a seatbelt in this position and I would recommend to try this prior to the surgery

This really depends on what you are having done. Of course we have to say that for safety reasons, you should be sitting upright with your seat belt hooked. If you only have fat injected in your buttocks and not your hips, you can recline the passenger seat and sit/lay on your hips - share the time equally between both sides. Definitely stop and get our of the car to walk around every hour or so. If fat is transferred to both the buttocks and hips then you want to try to lay on your stomach. Most women can fit across the back seat but if you are tall you may want to consider renting or borrowing a larger vehicle.

Thank you for your inquiry.It is recommended that you don't put pressure on your buttocks after your surgery, so laying on your stomach would be the best way for you to be positioned in your car ride home. We also have our BBL patients purchase the Booty Buddy which is a pillow specially designed for sitting after a BBL.
