I had a type 3 forehead sinus setback a year ago and there is a small transition step between my forehead and nose. How can i fill in this "gap" to make the transition smoother? (mind that my forehead is maximally set back and cant be pushed back any further)

Answer: Radix Adjustment Hello! Yes, you can place a radix graft to provide some elevation at that point and smoothing. Typically, I recommend soft graft material like temporalis fascia so it doesn't appear firm or irregular at any point. This can be done through intranasal incisions. Depending on pain tolerance, it can also be done in clinic. I would seek consultation with a Facial Plastic Surgeon to learn more. Hope this helps!

Answer: Is your radix too deep? Is your radix too deep? The radius is the indentation below the forehead where the nose begins. It should not continue straight down from the forehead in a woman. This would be a typical Greek or Roman statue appearance. It appears to me that the depth of your radix is just about right as it is and in my opinion does not need to be filled in.
