Contour irregularities are generally more visible in photographs because of the mathematical algorithms used to process images and increase contrast. Over time, the situation could remain the same, improve or get slightly worse. This depends on whether the depression is situated near an area that is swollen and therefore would line itself better when the swelling decreases or whether there is no surrounding swelling.

Very discreet problems as the one you are describing are generally better managed with injectable fillers. Leaving it alone is also a reasonable management option since people around you will see what you see in the mirror rather than what you're seeing in photographs. Surgical correction of relatively small irregularities is more challenging and will inevitably introduce a period of swelling that would be more visible than the current problem

The scar on the columella is permanent but generally fades to be very discreet. If you feel this needs improvement, it would be wise to bring this to the attention of your surgeon as scar revision can be contemplated. Do bear in mind that the scar does not fully disappear irrespective of how the surgery is carried out.
