Thank you for your query and your photograph. It is possible to estimate your cup size following your second breast reduction only after examining you. The other option will be an estimate using 3 D imaging like Crisalix. With a breast reduction of 500 grams you can usually get a decrease of upto 2 cup sizes depending on your height and weight. Please discuss all your concerns with your plastic surgeon who can help you. All the best!
Thanks for your question! It is really hard to give you an accurate answer without seeing you in person. I wouldn't focus too much on the cup size though. If you like the B&A photos your doctor has shown you and you like his work, I'm sure you will be happy. Good luck!
Hello @Intelligent460647, thank you for your question. When performing a breast reduction, the amount of breast tissue that the patient has must be taken into account. This is in order to achieve the final objective, which is to give harmony and uniformity to the breasts. For more information and recommendations, it is prudent to consult with one or several board certified plastic surgeons. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD FACS. Removing 500 grams of tissue should drop you down 2 cups and perhaps a little more. Each cup is roughly 150-200 cc's of tissue, depending upon your chest size.
It is difficult to determine exactly what cup size you'll be after surgery as cup sizing varies by manufacturer. During this procedure your surgeon has to balance the amount of tissue removed while maintaining appropriate blood supply to the remaining tissue. The focus is more about getting you results that you love rather than achieving a given cup size.
I would tell you that you could never be a B cup because your chest diameter is too wide and that doesn't change with breast reduction. You can be much smaller but no cup size can be quoted.
Hi RileyLouise320, Patients choose to optimize their breast aesthetics for many reasons. Ultimately, what you choose to do with your body is up to you. Patients with large breasts often have multiple problems, including but not limited to back and neck and shoulder pain, bra strap grooving,...
Based on your photos it seems a breast reduction would help with your symptoms. That being said, neck and back pain can have several causes, so relief from the pain cannot be guaranteed. Breast reduction surgery will decrease the size of the areola, but by itself, however, does not decrease the...
Thanks for your question! Without photos, this is going to be difficult to answer. I would suggest following up with your surgeon who performed the surgery or seeking another opinion. Good luck!
Dear Nola Jazz, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of...
Hello and thank you for your question. Schedule an appointment with your surgeon to discuss these concerns, and have the area examined. Best wishes!
Hi Treebird, It's more than fair to ask! There could be very sound reasons for not having many photos on a website- the surgeon could be young in practice, or simply doesn't have the office infrastructure to do this type of work for him/her. If you ask, you might get an explanation that puts...
