I would recommend using a more appropriate size implant with a lift. This would also include the internal bra. Large implants lead to large problems over time.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.Lipo and mesh shouldn't add much recovery time.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

Thank you for sharing your question. Nothing replaces an in-person examination of your tissues, but in most cases of patients pursuing their initial augmentation mesh is unnecessary. This is the importance of a thorough initial consultation where your goals are discussed and the steps as to how to best get there are detailed to you. Although liposuction could be done to improve some underlying asymmetry, slightly different sized implants would likely afford you an easier solution than the added risk that the liposuction would carry. I would seek out additional consultations to get the best information on how to proceed.

You mentioned this consultation was your first. Do you have others scheduled? Mesh is usually recommended for patients with thin tissues or sagging breasts. You don't appear to have either. You may want to consider using different sized implants versus liposuction to achieve better symmetry. An in person evaluation is best, so further consultations may be helpful.

The mesh and lipo can add some additional discomfort and prolong the recovery. How long and how much additional pain is completely determined by the extent of lipo and how much manipulation is required to place the mesh. For example when the mesh is sutured to the chest wall, this will increase pain and thus recovery.

I would suggest going with the smaller size since mesh is needed for support. The larger the implant, the heavier it will be on your tissue and neck and shoulders, and more likely to sag over time. The recovery time will still be about 6 weeks even with liposuction and mesh.

Hi. I believe you don't need a mesh because your breasts aren't sagging. I would avoid liposuctioning the breast to achieve symmetry. You can put different size implants in each breast to correct the asymmetry. As for the implant size, it's hard to tell without having your measurements and knowing what you would like your breasts to look like.
