i dont think there is a limit on smartlipo but it creates a good amount of scar tissuse so i would wait for at least 9 monthsDr G
i have done several patients who were very happy with their results but wondered if I could get even more fat out with further improvement, if i went back to the same area, after 5-6 months. This was in fact the case. I don't see why there is any absolute number of treatments you can have. I would suggest waiting at least 5-6 months between treatment since you continue to improve for 6 months. . Of course, if you are very thin and there is only a small amount of fat, you have to consider the risk/benefit since Smartlipo is a great device but it cannot make you perfect, nor give you a 6 pack. david berman md
Thanks for your question! I don't think that SmartLipo would be the best choice for you right now. Based on your photos, I think that you may have some visceral or intrabdominal fat that can't be treated with liposuction or SmartLipo. Also, SmartLipo is better for targeted areas...
Thank you for your question and congratulations on your recent procedure. While it is normal for the body to retain water weight post procedure, you are also experiencing swelling as well while your body is healing. It's best to not focus on your post-op weight, this should return to normal...
I would advise to ask your doctor. My personal experience is that although many smokers are advised to quit smoking before this procedure many don't and I still perform the procedure without problems. Best wishes.
