What is the best procedure for lifting hooded, downturned eyes and a downturned mouth? (photo)

I have had downturned eyes all my life but as I age they are becoming very noticeable. I also have deep sunken eyelids and a downturned mouth. Can I correct this through injections or is there a permanent solution?

For whatever reason I don't seeing the photographs a good demonstration. Heavy upper lids are usually treated with blepharoplasty often times in a surgical suite in the office with local anesthesia or perhaps with oral sedation and local anesthesia. A downturned mouth can be treated nonsurgical he was filler. Where there is significant development of jowls because of aging surgery may be more suitable.

Almond eye have upturned outer lower eyelids and outer corner of the eyes. Surgery may be possible to make eyes more almond shaped. Not sure if you need it.

After reviewing your photos, I would try Botox to the area around your eyes and certainly a product like Juvederm can be used around the mouth to bring the corners of the mouth up.

ahmom9, I see nothing wrong with the shape of your eyes in general; be careful what you ask for in this regard. You have lateral hooding of the upper lid. Consider Botox versus an endoscopic brow lift. For the corners of your mouth you can try Botox to your depressors. See an experienced plastic surgeon that specializes in "only faces". Blepharoplasty of the upper eyelids would help "lift" the appearance of the eyes. Be sure to discuss your specific goals with your surgeon. The creases should be maintained in their natural position, and have your surgeon be cautious about too much tissue removal. Filler below the corners of the mouth (marionette lines) would help to give your mouth a bit of a lift. Less is better so that over-correction will not be an issue. See an experienced injector for this.Best wishes!
