During my consultation for breast implants and a tummy tuck, the surgeon recommended a breast lift. I agreed to move forward with the lift as well and paid for the operation in full prior to the surgery (required), which itemized (breast implants with lift). During the operation, he decided not to do the lift b/c he felt I did not need a lift after the implants were in. I would like a refund for the amount of the breast lift that I paid for. Is this reasonable/expected?

I would recommend a silicone (gummy), submuscular, peri-areolar incision. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with and who is a Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

The weight of breast implants will translate roughly into 1 cc equaling 1 gram, both for saline and silicone. Two 360cc breast implants will weight 720 grams which will be about 2 pounds. Good luck, your doing great after surgery!
