Sometimes patients consult us for rhinoplasty surgery after having had previous temporary gel fillers. I have been amazed that nasal HA filler may dissolve within 48 hours of receiving the dissolving enzyme. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Thank you for your question! Depending on the product that is used it is possible to reverse fillers with no surgery, just by simply injecting another specific product into the filler. The most commonly reversible fillers used for nose injections are Juvederm and Restylane, both made with hyaluronic acid. However, there are other fillers in the market that may be used for nose jobs but that are not reversible with injections, and the patient may require surgery remove the filler. Hope this helps. Best! Dr. Miotto.
Hi and thanks for your question. Most fillers used for Non Surgical Rhinoplasty can be reversed. As long as they are made from hyaluronic acid (Restylane, Juvederm, Voluma, Lyft, etc), a simple injection of enzyme will dissolve the filler. Radiesse and Bellafill and Silicone cannot be reversed. Hope that helps.
Yes, HA fillers used for non-surgical nose-jobs can be reversed with hyaluronidase. It may take a series of treatments. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Minor defects of the bridge (dorsum), central nose and tip of the nose can be very precisely and quickly corrected with fillers. Improved definition of the tip, and straightening of the dorsum may be achieved. This may also result in straighter, thinner appearing nose. Reduction of a prominent dorsum or tip requires surgery.Various fillers are available Radiesse, Bellafill, autologous fat, Voluma and Lyft are options. Depending on your expectations for longevity and budget (pricing between $500 and $1900) a product can be chosen to best fit your needs. There are no fillers that have been tested in this area by the FDA and therefor are considered "off label use".Please consult in person with an experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon prior to making treatment decisions.
I agree with the above comments. There are many options for filler choices, some of which can be dissolved/reversed and some of which can't. Hyaluronidase injections can be used to dissolve or reverse Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers only. Hope these comments help. We would love to see you for a consult to help answer any other questions.
Dunj,Fillers that fall under the hyaluronic acid (HA) category are reversible. However, there are other fillers that are also on the market in the US (e.g. Radiesse, Bellafill/Artefill, Silicone, and Fat Derivatives) that cannot be removed once placed. Depending on the correction that you seek, certain fillers are more appropriate than others. As a result, seeking out a consultation with an experienced aesthetic physician is paramount to an optimal outcome. All the best!
It depends on what filler is used. If a Hyaluronic acid filler such as Juvederm or Restylane is used then it can be reversed. If a filler such as Radiesse is used it can not.
Hi and thanks for your question. You are right to avoid the pain, recovery time and expense of surgery for a small issue such as this. A hyaluronic filler like Voluma can definitely be used to correct the bifid appearance of your nasal tip, as part of a Non Surgical Rhinoplasty procedure. The fi...

Thank you for your question. Depending on the cause of your nasal tip droop (ptosis), there are several nonsurgical options. If your depressor septi nasalis is overactive, 4 to 8 units of a neuromodulator (Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin) is a simple solution. If you need structural support to yo...
