How important is the pieces of foam that go in the etched part of the abdominal etching surgery?

The relevance of foam is controversial. The most important factor for the outcome of your abdominal etching is the perfect surgical technique and the capacity of your tissue to respond to that. To my humble opinion, additional post operative assets like foam are helpful to a certain degree, but their significance is generally overrated.In other words: I don't think you have to worry it won't make that much of a difference.

Thank you for your question regarding the importance of foam after VASER HI DEF liposuction to the abdomen.   The importance of the foam after VASER HI DEF, I think has to do  more with surgeons experience and preference.   The way I perform VASER HI DEF  liposuction to the abdomen, the foam is essential and critical.  The foam helps to minimize swelling and accelerate skin adhesions to the areas where the fat has been removed.  I think you’ll find that the more experienced, VASER HI DEF liposuction plastic surgeons who teach VASER HI DEF courses all use the foam. Hello and thank you for posting your concern. With all surgeries there is always a healing process. The crossbar foams that were placed under your compression garment are relatively important because they act like a brace that helps your own etched skin “Velcro” to the body as well as adds a bit more of compression. Generally, shifted foam does not make that much of a difference, but then again everyone’s body is unique in its own way. All the best,
