Will insurance cover Liposuction if there is a medical need?

I have mitochondrial disease and I gained 45 lbs from taking a medication to control disease progression. Recently I have been working out to address the weight gain however there are a few areas that I am having trouble burning fat off with cardio. The fat needs to go because extra fat causes the disease to progress and flare up. I cannot afford liposuction and I am curious if I can get the procedure covered due to my condition.

You could likely do non invasive options like sculpsure or ultrashape but my suggestion would be a hi definition 4D contouring procedure to get the definition and shaping at the same time immediately . Best, Dr. emer.

I have found this is often the case but it is best to eat healthy and keep a low salt diet.  you will lose more weight and swelling will decrease much more quickly.  Best, Dr. Emer.

In my opinion you are definitely not a candidate for suction of the cheek area. Contour issues would be best help by fillers.On balance I really think you're being too self-critical. No treatment is certainly a legitimate choice.
