Does this insicion look infected??? I had a BBL 2 weeks ago. (photo)

Hi, NicoleATL.  Congratulations on your BBL.  Based on the photo, your incision itself does not look obviously infected, but the whitish tissue and pale fat beneath does not look as healthy as it should and you may have to have that debrided.  Additionally, the draining fluid may just be some unconcerning residual mild serous fluid (made by the body) and left over blood, but may also represent a more problematic level of serous fluid, non-viable fat grafts, liquefying hematoma, and/or infection and you should follow-up with your surgeon promptly.  I would also encourage you not to put pressure on the incision area or the areas where the fat was transferred until you are evaluated by your surgeon.

If you still have an open wound, then you are best to see your surgeon for evaluation to make sure every thing is healing ok.
