Answer: The appearance of the area you want to treat determines whether smart lipo is a good idea or not Smart lipo is a tool for fat removal that works well for some areas and not so well for others. The best way to determine if this is a reasonable option is to see the areas you want to treat. Sometimes, if the areas are large and sagging, other procedures may give better results.

Answer: Tumescent liposuction Tumescent liposuction is the technique to which all other methods are compared. It is safe and effective. First there is injection of fluid into the fat that causes blood vessels to shrink and gives pain relief which minimizes the amount of additional anesthesia required. All of the other techniques use tumescent fluid, and are followed by the suction component of the tumescent liposuction. The only difference is that laser, smart, jet, power, tickle and all of these other tools add a step in between the tumescent and the suction to melt or otherwise break up the fat. This extra step is not necessary to achieve good results, it adds risk, and is often a gimmick.

Answer: SmartLipo Liposuction of any kind is intended for body contouring rather than weight loss. The main advantage of adding SlimLipo or SmartLipo is for the additional skin tightening provided by the laser. On the opposite side of the coin, the addition of SmartLipo and SlimLipo to the procedure makes it more expensive. Based on your current height and weight, I might suggest that you get into a weight loss program so that you can get to a better weight (which will mean better results) before undergoing liposuction of any kind.
