I have a very flat nose. It’s unusually flat to the point that I’ve gotten comments on it and I’m really self-conscious about it, especially when taking pictures. What procedure could I take to get a more defined and prominent nose? I’m the only one in my family with a nose this flat, and it messes with my confidence big time. My nostrils are V-shaped as well — is this normal? I have literally never seen anybody with this nose shape? Thank you all for all the answers.
Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello, Based on the photos we recommend you Rhinoplasty(bridge augmentation+Tipplasty) with Osteotomy and Alar reduction, By using silicon implant we can increase your nose height, Osteotomy narrows the nose bone from a thick or wide nose bridge to make it slimmer. Alar reduction will reduce the width of alars.

Answer: Augmentation rhinoplasty Absolutely. You can raise the bridge, define the tip and change the orientation of the nostrils with augmentation rhinoplasty. This involves adding support and structure to the nose. The most commonly used structural graft for this kind of rhinoplasty is cartilage, which can come from your septum, ear and/or rib. The amount of augmentation you need probably means a rib cartilage graft will be necessary. You will need to consult with an expert rhinoplasty surgeon to discuss your goals and undergo a thorough examination to determine if you would be a good candidate for surgery. Best of luck.
