Combining microneedling with IPL foto facial, what is the down time?

Question

My understanding is .5mm microneedles can be used 2 weeks after Botox, and 4 weeks after fillers .... What about IPL fotofacial? How soon after a fotofacial can you microneedle? And how much time should you wait before getting a fotofacial after microneedling with .5mm?

Superficial microneedling can be done in combination with IPL treatments.  I would do the IPL first, then follow about a week later with the microneedling.  This is a great combination for treating skin texture, fine lines, and brown spots.

Micro-needling with 0.5 needles is quite superficial and non-invasive so recovery time is quite rapid. Typically within minutes to just a few hours the micro-channels have closed and the inflammation has subsided.Micro-needling can be done a week after IPL treatment once the treated areas have healed. After micro-needling, you only need to wait a few days before IPL treatments.
