Does microneedling leave a red area on the edges of the scars?

We have been doing microneedling in my practice for over one year.  As the skin repairs itself from the microscopic injuries caused during the microneedling process it may be slightly pink. Microneedling will increase the circulation and improve the texture of the scars. It is very important to protect your skin from the sun during this process.

Redness usually will fade over the next few weeks. My suggestion is to back off any treatment that my traumatise your skin for say 4-6 weeks. I had attached a link on how easy it is to treat chicken pox scars.
