Will a butt lift make my butt flat and have a manly figure? (photos)

Question

I’m having a butt and lateral thigh lift in 2 weeks but was wondering if it may make my butt long and flat and also give me a manly shape?? I have some contour irregularities on my outer thighs from bad lipo im trying to correct and I also want the fat at top of butt on each side gone so my butt doesn’t look so square. It also creates a bulge when I have pants on. Do u think my butt is fat enough that the lift won’t flatten by butt? Also what do u think about it causing a manly shape? Thx

Thank you for your photos and question. A buttock lift involves cutting skin and fat in order to lift the buttock higher. In doing this, the buttock may become slightly deflated, depending on your current anatomy. A physical exam would be necessary. This can be enhanced with liposuction and fat transfer to the buttocks. In your case, you have a full buttocks now so you may be happy with just a buttock lift. Certain body contouring techniques can be used in order to maintain a feminine shape. Be sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon who specialized in body contouring. Check out my photo gallery. Thanks for writing,Based on your photos it is impossible to evaluated anything because of your compressive underwear. A true buttocks lift is really for ptosis or falling of the buttocks, like a breast lift is for lifting falling breasts. Relative to the thigh lift, once again it's hard to tell.I would strongly suggest you have this conversation with the Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who will be operating on you. I don't know what you mean by a butt lift and thigh lift.  If you really mean  a real lift with excising skin that would be the worst thing you could possibly do. The procedure for you is a liposuction fat injection.  It's just a matter of doing it right. the key is to match your frame and make a smooth contour in a smooth curve from the waist of the hips.  A real lift with excising skin is absolutely the wrong thing to do.

Hello and thank you for your question. In general most butt lifts by themselves if not too aggressive will flatten your butt a little. The more aggressive the lift the flatter your butt becomes. The masculinization that you talk about is extremely common after a lower body lift but less so after a butt lift by itself. If your but lift is part of an extended thigh lift then it could flatten your hips a little.
