Is it possible to shorten my butt by making a new crease higher? Does anyone do this? (photos)

Typically what is done in your case is to perform a lower buttock tuck . This procedure is kind of like a tummy tuck for the buttock in that it removes loose sagging skin from not only the lower buttock but also the back of the thigh to tighten both areas and create a more defined buttock crease. In doing so it essentially shortens the buttock cheek.   One other thing I highly recommend in these cases is to restore volume to the buttock with a buttock implant. This will create a more desirable rounded full buttock profile. If not adding volume with an implant, the buttock will be shortened but will apoear more flat. Glad to be of help.

Yes, this type of lower buttock lift (or thong lift) is performed, although not as frequently as other types of buttock augmentation procedures.  It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate for that procedure. I recommend that you find a board-certified, or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of similar patients whom have had this procedure. Hello and thank you for your question. There are ways to do this, none perfect. The buttocks and thigh skin can be tucked up and in. This will change your crease to a flatter look. That may be sufficient by itself. A full buttock lift may also be required and or wanted. In my hands this is typically accompanied with an auto augmentation of your buttocks using your own tissue.Peter Fisher M.D
