hi i am 19 years old i am currently a size 36c/34d and im looking to get a breast lift i am young and dont want vertical lift scars some doctors have recommended the donut lift but said i might lack upper pole volume so i was wondering if it would be possible to get lipo from my stomach to my breasts ,also i saw a method where mesh was incorporated to serve as a internal bra during a doughnut lift and i was wondering if more doctors used that technique.
Answer: Breast Fat Transfer/ Breast Augmentation/Breast Implants/Anatomic Gummy Bear Implants/ Silicone Implants/Breast Implant Revision I appreciate your questionI perform a natural breast augmentation with fat. This can be removed from any unwanted areas including the breast itself as part of my lipo-lift procedure. I perform the fat grafting in multiple planes including under the muscle to give the best, most natural enhancement. Fat grafting is a great solution for someone who wants to bring their breast size up a cup or so and use natural tissue vs an implant. However, it can also be combined with an implant or used as a secondary procedure to fill in areas that are flat or thin. It should not affect nipple sensation, mammograms, cancer risk or breast feeding. It can be a little lump or hard at first but tends to soften over time. If you gain or lose weight, the transferred fat can do the same. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic breast plastic surgery. Best of luck! Dr. SchwartzBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon#RealSelf100Surgeon#RealSelfCORESurgeon

Answer: Breast lift vs. fat grafting There is no doubt that breast lift would be better procedure then any type of augmentation, in your case. However, if you want to improve upper pole fullness without lift it can be achieved with fat grafting/shaping. Placement of any "inner bra" would require lollypop incision; it is not clear whether mesh support really has measurable long term benefits in breast lift. You should seek a consult with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Good luck.

Answer: Breast lift with fat transfer? Very hard t decide over the internet even with posted photos! Best to seek more in person opinions. I think a donut lift with fat grafts might offer an acceptable but NOT great result!

Answer: Breast fat transfer is not the same as a breast lift. Breast fat transfer is amazing at making breasts a little bigger without adding scars (except tiny hidden ones). It is best for patients that like the shape of their breasts and really just want a little more volume. It does not do as well as an implant at reshaping breasts. For breasts that need more lift some form of mastopexy, known as a breast lift, is also useful. It really depends on your personal goals as to what the best choice is for you. Hopefully your surgeon spent a lot of time going over the pros and cons of your different choices to help you make the right decision for you. Remember, fat grafting does take a meticulous technique that many surgeons simply can not be bothered with. The end result is less fat survival. Make sure your surgeon is committed to placing each droplet carefully to get the best fat survival for your breast augmentation should you take that path.Dr Rodger ShorttOakville Plastic SurgeonAssistant Clinical Professor &Director of Cosmetic Surgery Training Program,McMaster UniversityOakville, Burlington, Georgetown, Milton, Mississauga, Hamilton, and Toronto.

Answer: CAN a Breast Lift be done with Fat Transfer? Except in the most minimal of breast sagging cases, the sagging breast CANNOT be reliably and long term be lifted by only the addition of volume; be it a breast implant or fat. The inflation of the sagging breast with either implant or fat would accentuate the present shape and then progressively pull the breast down worsening the sagging. The solution to sagging is Lifting. The TYPE of breast lifting that needs to be performed depends on the amount of sagging (including location of the nipple compared to the lower breast fold) AND the shape of the breast. No Plastic surgeon likes scars BUT there is NO WAY a very sagging breast can be lifted with only a scar along the areola (be it a Crescent or a Donut). In your case, you demonstrate real sagging, asymmetry of the breasts, large stretched out areolas and slight constriction of the breasts. You may benefit from a Short Scar Mastopexy (Lift) which has a vertical scar. Doing it without it would likely result in a substandard outcome.Good LuckPeter Aldea MD
