My cheekbones have been increasing in size for 2 years since 19. Why is this?

Thank you for your question and photos.  Everyone has some degree of facial asymmetry.  You have both midface and mandibular asymmetry.  You would need a detailed examination by an expert in facial bony and soft tissue anatomy.  In my experience, there will be several options...

Without photos and an exam,the best opinion is not possible. As you are a "late bloomer" , it your appearance is not extremely concerning then with age cheek fat tends to atrophy. However if you are bothered, #Microliposuction with fine cannulas in skilled hands may be the best option for you.

I suggest seeing a cosmetic dermatologist that works with a lot of male aesthetics.  Half of my practice is men and male aesthetics and I teach all over the world on this.  I would look up the PHI concept of beauty which will give you some information on proportions of the face....

Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for the question. I am happy to hear that you have recovered. The best option for parotid swelling, once other medical issues have been ruled out, is probably Botox injections. This should be done with small doses, sequentially over a few months. Best of luck moving forward!
