What can I do to change my round face and make it look longer?

is there any surgery options that can take fat out of my cheeks and make my face look longer? how much does the operation range from?

Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Hi Ariel,We do a quick operation in the office where the fat in the cheeks is removed through a small incision inside your mouth.  This takes only 15 minutes or less and you can go right home afterwards.This may be all you need!  There are many other options (some with fillers and some with implants and some with bone shaping), but I think buccal fat pad removal (cheek fat removal) may do the trick.

Thank you for sharing your case.  There are many different options for facial rejuvenation.  Filler injections are a good place to start and can redistribute the thicker areas of your face to achieve an elongated look.  Botox can help to erase wrinkles. The only way to make a face look longer is through vertical elongation of the chin and/or jawline. Facial defatting of the cheeks and perioral region can have a complementary effect on facial lengthening but by itself will not help much. I would need to see pictures to determine if these type of procedures would be beneficial for your face.

Hi, in female faces heart-shape is perceieved as the most feminine and attractive.  Round faces typically have excess facial fat that can be reduced using facial liposuction.  Further facial shaping of the cheeks and chin can be accomplished using a dermal filler (I prefer Perlane) or cheek and chin implants for a permanent enhancement.
