Will asymmetrical nasolabial fold improve after orthodontic work? (Photos)

Question

For the longest time, I've been self conscious about my nasiolabial folds being asymmetrical. I believe it's because of my bite... and precious ortho work when I was a child where all my pre-molars were extracted. I want to know what doctors think. ALSO, by looking at my pics, is there something in the bone that could be fixed

I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion (J Plasma), thread lifting,  and peels to get the most conservative, natural look. Hi, Thanks for your questions.  I suggest consulting with your orthodontist for any concerns you have regarding your bite/further bony work that needs to be done.  With regard to soft tissue deficiency of the nasolabial folds, fillers can certainly improve this.  Please see a qualified dermatologist or plastic surgeon.

HelloI defer the outcome of the asymmetry to your dentist.looking at he photos, you have good prominent cheeks. Fillers do help with deep nasolabial lines if happen what you are concerned about.Best

It's hard to tell without evaluating you in person. That being said, hyaluronic acid based fillers like Restylane Defyne would help soften the nasolabial folds and improve fold symmetry.
