Hello, the hyaluronic acid injections made for injection into knee joints have a much lower viscosity and would not be very effective as a filler. Cutting corners with fillers is a recipe for disaster. You will have to think twice before being treated by any doctor who would inject a knee lubricant into your face to save a few bucks. If the cost of fillers is a concern, you may want to consider having a long lasting product such as Bellafill or even your own fat injected as a filler. It will cost you more up front but save you money in the long run because the results can last you 5 years or more.

Ingredients are not the only consideration. Proportion and density are key. Durolane is not the equivalent of Restylane and will not have the same result. I would caution you against attempting to use this medication for this purpose.
