Should I get my Juvederm dissolved? I can't smile normally.

Question

Dear Doctor, I recently had Juvederm in my lips and in my nasolabial folds. I wish I had never had anything done! My naturally big smile is now constricted, and it looks as though I am not smiling fully, as if my cheeks are preventing me doing so. Aslo my lips look unnatural, so I have asked for the filler to be dissolved. Please help as I am so depressed! I had fillers 3 weeks ago.

I recommend you return to your injector to discuss your results. At this time, you can consider getting hyaluronidase to dissolve some of the filler.

of the benefits of dermal fillers like JUVÉDERM is that they should not affect
your ability to make normal facial expressions. If you’re this unhappy with
your results, then I do think that looking into hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler
could be a good solution for you. Typically, the cost is less per vial than the
original filler. If you choose to have dermal fillers again in the future, be
sure to only visit a very skilled cosmetic surgeon who has extensive expertise
with injectables. I’m sorry for your negative experience, and hope the hyaluronidase
helps.

If you are unhappy with your results i would recommend that you return to your injector and express your dissatisfaction.  It is possible to have Hyaluronidase injected to dissolve filler. Best of Luck

Your injector would be the best person to guide you as he or she knows the scope of the treatment and the specifics about you. If the person does not have the experience and expertise to provide you the look that you desire, go back to your injector to have him or her dissolve the juvederm with Hyaluronidase, and then request a consult with an expert and experienced physician injector.
