Should I let my nurse injector 'squeeze' my lip filler out?

Hello, it depends on what product was injected and where, but after 9-12 months, most HA fillers should have "gone away" on their own. Hyaluronidase can certainly help dissolve unwanted areas of filler. However, "squeezing" out filler is generally not possible unless an excess amount was freshly injected fairly superficially. Since your filler is nearly 12 months old I would not anticipate that this would feasible. I recommend seeing a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist to examine and reassess you, as one of the possible complications of filler is a granuloma, or a lump of scar tissue due to chronic inflammation, and this would be something that would not dissolve with hyaluronidase.

Iam just a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, but I do not think you can extract HA fillers by squeezing them out after 3 months. Might need to get another opinion or someone else who might have better luck dissolving it. Are you certain it was really Juvederm?

I have never heard of this form a of technique to remove filler so I will not recommend it as the best solution to your lumpy filler. Perhaps your injector can inject the product to dissolve your lips using a cannula and adding some saline for more even distribution.

Typically lip filler that is creating an undesired effect is dissolved with hyaluronidase. It is not uncommon to need more than one treatment. Unless your filler is very superficial I'm not sure how successful it would be to squeeze it out. You may want to check with another injector for a second opinion.
