Too old for cosmetic surgery? I am a 37 year old female.

37 years old is definitely not too old for cosmetic surgery. Majority of patients range in that age! We have seen patients up to 80 years old, as long as they are healthy and cleared for cosmetic surgery. I would have to say that 37 is a great age range to have some procedures done. Most women start to see their body’s aging at around that age, especially after post-partum changes. If you have any hesitations because of your age, I would give the green light!

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  37 is definitely not too old for cosmetic surgery.  You could undergo all of these procedures.  This decision should
be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you
and your surgeon.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

Not old at all I have had older patients 37 is a young age, an in-person consultation would be best for a detailed exam and evaluation, I am sorry your family is not supportive enough do what makes you feel better. Always consult with a board certified PS.Best wishes!

As long as you are in good health, age is not a factor. I have many patients that have had surgery well into their 70's. It's too bad your family is not supportive, you should do what makes you feel good! Good luck.

I'm sorry to hear that your family is not supportive of your decision to make a positive improvement in your life.  At the age of 37, you absolutely are not too old for plastic surgery.  People of any age can successfully and safely have surgery; the more important issue is your overall health status, weight and outlook on life.  People in your age group are probably some of the most frequent plastic surgery patients.  However, you will need a good support system to hep you through your recovery, so hopefully you can find some friends and family to help you through the process.  Best of luck!
