Implant removal - what’s the best option?

I require implant removal -unnatural results. A cup to D cup. My original surgeon says can only have removal and not enough breast tissue for a lift. 2nd opinion said can have lift with anchor scar & will be smaller. 3 rd opinion removal only my best option. Told RF tightening not work & not enough fat for transfer. Original breast drooping as age 40 and skin sag started. Biggest regret of my life getting implants. Surgery made me physically & mentally ill. Want one salvage surgery.

Thank you for submitting your questions/concerns and photos.  I'm sorry you've had this experience with your breast augmentation.  Based on your photos, if you were to remove your implants, you'd likely need a breast lift to improve your breast appearance.  This could potentially be a vertical mastopexy which would give you a circular scar around the areola and a line down to the breast fold (the lollipop incision pattern).  Of course, you'd need to be evaluated in person by a board certified plastic surgeon in order to come up with a good surgical plan.  I wish you luck and thank you for reaching out.

Breast lift after removal of implants will help to achieve symmetry and tighten the skin. It may be possible to place small ammount of fat gafts in the muscle and underneath the skin? In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who has extensive experience with breast fat grafting, is recommended. Good luck.

Because you are thin and have small breasts, removing your implants poses some difficult issues. Your skin is unlikely to adapt back to your pre-augmentation shape, but even with a lift there isn't much tissue to build a good shape. Your results look pretty good. If you are convinced that your implants are making you ill then it might be worth it but be prepared.

You don't say how long your implants have been in place for - but you can definitely remove your implants. Whether you have a breast lift or not depends entirely on your expectations and the kind of result you are hoping for. Removal of your implants without a breast lift will give you a similar result to your how breasts looked before your implant operation. It would be advisable to wear a very firm sports bra day and night for 3-6 months while the stretched skin is retracting/shrinking. This is exactly what happens after a woman has had a baby - the skin usually goes on to retract/shrink over time. Removal of implants with a vertical scar breast lift can give you a pleasing result, making your breasts look perter, and more youthful, and it could also reposition your nipples and give you a better cleavage. A vertical scar technique takes about 6 months to settle, but this is a short term investment for a well maintained long term result.I hope this is helpful

You are a good candidate for breast implant removal and breast lift with auto-augmentation. This means the remaining breast tissue that you have will be used to recreate the look of a small implant. This would give you some more volume than just removing the implants alone. The scar would be the full anchor pattern scar. Please visit with a board certified plastic surgeon as revision breast surgery is challenging and some surgeons do not perform auto-augmentation. Good luck!

I'm sorry you are unhappy with your breast augmentation.  You can elect to have the implants removed at any time.  An in person evaluation is needed to determine if you have enough natural breast tissue to have a successful breast lift.  If not you can consider smaller implants or have them removed all together and will likely have some loose skin.
