I have seen pictures of patients with even stitching with long incision Vs uneven stitching with short incision, ripping and some bunching up at the seams. What do you recommend ? Which one heals faster ?

Swelling and bruising can happen anywhere near the suture from your surgery, or resulting from a tight binder being worn. I would say to give the bruised and swollen area a day or so to clear up, and then if it continues you should contact your PS personally to discuss the type of compression...
