How much would it be to shorten the tip of the nose of its slightly overprojected?

Dear Monica,   Front and side view pictures of your face would have been very helpful. It is impossible to give you a quote on the procedure without seeing  the pictures or  examining you .    In my practice, I take a life size photograph of your face(front, side or both) and draw on a tracing paper the shape of the nose that fits you the best. You reviews the drawing and correction can be made according to your  desire. Most of the times the patients agrees with the drawings and surgery proceeds as planned.    You have to realize that not all results are the same, because experience, skills and aesthetic eye are critical for good outcome. So, do your due diligence carefully and choose your surgeon wisely.   Always, consult with experienced  board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. being said, based on your description you may benefit from a nasal tip deprojection surgery.  Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

Many factors influence the price of the rhinoplasty like location of the doctor, if the doctor is specialized, revision or primary rhinoplasty, what specific procedures are being done to the nose etc. An average rhinoplasty cost in my office ranges from $8,000 to $15,000. Plastic surgeons want you to shop for a doctor who is going to have the same aesthetic eye as you. Every nose is different, and every rhinoplasty is different. Without seeing you in person. it is difficult to say what needs to be done. I will say that shortening the tip needs surgery.

In my office lowering or bringing the nasal tip back towards the face ( retro-projection ) is done with oral sedation and local anesthesia injections. We do it in our office operating room and it usually takes about 20 minutes. The only discomfort is a few quick needle sticks and thereafter you feel nothing and are perfectly relaxed with the sedation. The benefits of this approach are numerous. First the biggest risk in any rhinoplasty is the anesthesia ( general or I.V. sedation ) and this removes that risk entirely. Second with local anesthesia and epinephrine injections there is almost no bleeding and thus minimal black and blue and swelling in the recovery phase.Third is the cost factor, in my office you pay for the surgery only, there is no anesthesia fee ( facility or anesthesiologist ). The cost of this procedure in my office is between $3000 and $5000 for the tip rhinoplasty work.

Your question is tough to answer without photos. Rhinoplasty costs can range from $5- $20k depending on where you are and who you see.
I would recommend seeing a board certified plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon with a special interest in rhinoplasty.  My last piece of advice is to remember that if you were to go skydiving, you wouldn't ask for the cheapest parachute.  Best of luck in your search!

Preoperative visualization and surgical simulation with the Crisalix system may help with your decision. I suggest that you find a board-certified plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable.
